As a former Acting Coach and now a Social Coach at the Center for BrainHealth, I’ve helped hundreds of people become more confident stepping into new roles. But for nearly two decades, I struggled in my own personal life—I could barely get a date, and when I did, the connection never lasted more than a month.

After the only real relationship I’d ever had ended, I started to feel hopeless.

I remember thinking, "God, what else do I need to do?" I had prayed, followed all the advice from books and seminars, and done everything I was “supposed” to do. And yet, it still felt like I was going to be single forever.

Eventually, I faced a choice: either keep struggling alone or get the support I truly needed. I chose to invest in myself and worked with a coach for 12 weeks.

The month after we finished, I met Derrick—and we’ve been together ever since.
